The Queen Bedroom faces north allowing the golden hues of
the setting sun to bathe the space in a warm, enchanting
glow. The original French doors open directly onto a
wrap-around veranda and reveal a view over Simpson Bay to
Maianbar and beckons guests to step outside and immerse
themselves in the beauty of nature.

Bundeena offers some charming dining spots with nature as the backdrop. Bundeena RSL serves classic pub meals with sweeping views across the water to Cronulla — perfect for a relaxed lunch or dinner. Just up the road, Earth Things Café is a local favourite for wholesome, handmade food and is now home to Bundeena Picnics, offering curated gourmet picnic boxes for beachside or bushland settings. And if you’re heading into the Royal National Park, Audley Dance Hall Café is a scenic stop for coffee, brunch or lunch by the river.

The kitchen at Simpson Cottage is chef-approved and fully equipped with everything you need to cook up a storm — whether you’re prepping a picnic, slow-cooking a winter roast, or just making your morning coffee. You’ll find quality cookware, sharp knives, serving platters, a coffee machine, blender, and even baking gear. Thoughtful extras like olive oil, salt, pepper, and pantry basics are also stocked, so you can settle in and enjoy without having to bring your whole pantry with you.
